No equipment necessary.

When was the last time you went to a gym? You know, that place that reeks of sweat and no one washes their hands? It was already a risky place to be and with the pandemic, I was surprised they waited so long to close down.

What do you do now that your only place to work out at is closed for an undetermined time? Is it time to finally say no to squats and yes to Cheeto Puffs?

Fortunately, people have worked on their fitness long before there were gyms to go to. While it may not be equal to those sick gains you were getting at the gym, there’s no reason to stop your workouts. Even if you have no equipment, you can do all of these from the comfort of your (quarantined) home.

Squats

Bodyweight squats are great. You can do them wherever, whenever, and it’s so easy to knock out 3 sets of these bad boys.

If you’re working from home sitting down for a while, take a quick break. Do a set of however many you want to do, then get back to work. I like to do sets in between meetings so I’m not just sitting there waiting for the next one.

How to do a bodyweight squat:

  1. Stand up with your arms crossed against your chest or extended forward from your body
