Anxiety, can you calm down for just a second?

And depression, can you keep it down in there?

Have you ever walked into a room full of people and your brain immediately tells you to panic? You look around, hoping this time your fight or flight reflex wasn’t misfiring, but the only thing you hear are people talking and the sound of glasses clinking together. There’s nothing bad happening. Not even two seconds later, your brain says “…what’s the point? Why are we even here?”. Having both depression and anxiety is exhausting; it’s like inviting two friends who definitely don’t get along to a party. They’re both against the party for their own reasons and it takes very different tactics to get them to be into it.

If you read one of my latest articles, you’ll see a lot of duality. It seems there’s a pattern to how I interpret my own thoughts and feelings; I end up labeling them as a different persona.

So let me describe my next two: Anxiety and Depression.
