For sure! I'm sick of movies with jumpscares in them, it's such a cheap way to put someone on edge without being clever.

I usually go more towards psychological thrillers or horror movies these days but they're definitely more of a slow burn. I will sometimes go after a jumpscare movie but only if I'm in the mood for it, and if it's short.

I'd probably say if you haven't seen The Lodge or La Llorna ( not the american one ) those are pretty good and I don't remember a lot of jump scares.
