Hey thanks for reading! I drank from the time I was 17 to 31..then quit last year from June 12,2019 to June 23,2020(roughly, i dont actually remember when i drank again but it was soon after my year).

From personal experience, it's so not worth going back to drinking, especially if it's FOMO. I basically did the same to feel some connection but it didn't feel genuine and I ended up feeling lonelier than before.

And definitely I want to be as up front as possible with sobriety as it's not always easy. I would hope that anything I write might give people hope that even if it seems rough now, it does get better. :) Just have to keep going. Writing online is weird but as you're proving now, we're having an interaction because of it so it must be good, right?
