Is It Easier To Date Now As a Sober Person?

I’ve even seen less people drinking on dating apps.

Maybe it’s my age or just the way things are turning out recently but I’ve seen a lot less alcoholic drinks in hands and not as many pictures of clubs and other things. So I started looking into it a little more and things are actually different now, even if you don’t see it right away.

Things are changing folks and it’s a great thing if you’re sober. Studies have shown that the Millennial and Gen Z generation are drinking far less than the older generations. But what does this mean for us that are sober or sober curious?

More non-alcoholic options

This has been a recent change, probably in the last couple of years. Even when I started going sober about 3–4 years ago, there weren’t a lot of options. I remember going to a lot of places and only being able to get water or soda for a very long time. It always made being sober feel like it was more of a punishment than anything else.

But now a lot of bars even have several non-alcoholic options and will gladly make a mocktail version of their cocktails(most of them at a least).

And more people are okay with meeting up for a non-alcoholic option. Keep in mind this might be something that only exists in a bigger city, but a lot of…
